Privacy Policy

Version 2026-06-15

Cresori is local-first: your portfolio data lives on your device, not on our servers. This policy explains what stays local and the few things the App sends out. It applies to the desktop App operated by Cresori (Wyoming, USA).

What stays on your device

Your imported trades, positions, dividends, cash, account identifiers, Flex token, market-data API keys and all computed analytics are stored in a local database on your machine. We do not collect, transmit or have access to them. Backups you create are written to your own disk.

What the App sends out

  • Market & reference data: to value your holdings and draw benchmarks, the App requests prices, fundamentals and dividend history. With your own provider keys those requests go directly from your device to that provider; for the Free tier, benchmark and watch-list end-of-day quotes are served by our backend. Only the symbols/identifiers needed for the lookup are sent — never your positions or quantities.
  • Interactive Brokers: if you configure them, your Flex token and (optionally) your local IB Gateway are used to fetch your statements and live quotes. These connections are between your device and IBKR.
  • Licensing: if you buy a paid plan, your licence key is validated with our payment provider / backend to confirm your tier. Payment itself is handled by the provider; we do not store your card details.

What we do not do

We do not sell your data, and the App contains no third-party advertising or behavioural trackers. We do not upload your portfolio.

Your control

Because the data is local, you control it: you can delete accounts, remove the demo portfolio, or delete the local database to erase everything. Removing the App removes its local data store.
