Binance adds gold and silver options after its metals futures pulled in billions a day

Binance's third headline of the summer, after the EU trading suspension and the change to its law-enforcement data process, is a straightforward product story: precious metals.
What launched
Binance added gold and silver options on Nest Exchange, a venue regulated by the Abu Dhabi Global Market (ADGM). It follows strong volume on Binance's existing metals perpetual futures, which peaked at $7.77 billion a day on gold and $7.27 billion on silver, reportedly 3 to 20% of COMEX volume on those days.
Why it's notable
A crypto exchange pulling meaningful volume away from COMEX, the traditional home of commodities futures, on gold and silver specifically is a real signal that Binance's user base extends well beyond crypto-native trading. Options are the natural next step once futures volume is already there.
Why this matters if you use Cresori
Binance is one of the brokers Cresori connects to directly. If you start holding metals options through Binance, that's a new position type in an account Cresori already tracks, worth knowing the product exists before it shows up in your portfolio rather than after.
