The AI-agent wave reaches advisor tools too: d1g1t launches an MCP server

Everything we've covered in this wave so far has been brokers connecting AI agents to individual trading accounts. d1g1t just showed the same pattern spreading somewhere else entirely: the software financial advisors use to manage other people's money.

What launched

d1g1t, an enterprise portfolio management platform used by wealth managers and advisory firms, launched an MCP server connecting its system directly to Claude, ChatGPT and Copilot. Instead of a retail trader linking their own account, this puts AI agents inside the workflow an advisor uses across a whole book of client portfolios.

Why it's a different category

Every broker connector we've covered so far is about one account owner deciding how much access to grant on their own money. An advisor platform is a different shape of risk entirely, one AI connection potentially touching data and decisions across many clients at once, managed by someone who isn't the account owner.

Why this matters if you use Cresori

d1g1t isn't a broker Cresori connects to, this is a category adjacent to what Cresori does rather than a competitor or a data source. Worth flagging anyway because it's a signal of where this trend goes next: once AI-agent access becomes normal at the account level, the tools built on top of many accounts are next in line, and the stakes for getting access controls right go up accordingly.
