A data provider joins the AI-agent wave: Eulerpool partners with Anthropic, raises $20M

Everything we've covered so far in this AI-agent wave has been about brokers: IBKR, Alpaca, Coinbase, Robinhood, all opening up trading access to AI assistants (see our roundup). Eulerpool, a financial data platform, just showed the same trend is happening on the data side too, and it came with a funding round attached.
The partnership
On February 21, Eulerpool and Anthropic announced a partnership to make Eulerpool's data natively accessible to Claude agents. The pitch: instead of an AI assistant scraping a webpage or guessing at a number, it can query Eulerpool's API directly and get real-time market data, fundamentals and estimates with sub-10ms latency. Pre-built analysis frameworks (fair value, quality scores, segment analysis) are exposed as native tool calls, so an agent can run structured financial analysis rather than free-form reasoning over raw numbers.
Eulerpool's pitch has always centered on institutional-grade coverage, over 100 million data points sourced from 250+ providers, the kind of data trusted by BlackRock, Allianz and Goldman Sachs. The Anthropic deal extends that same dataset to AI agents.
Then a $20M round
A month later, in March, Eulerpool raised $20 million, its first outside capital. The company says it was already profitable and growing, and took the round from a position of strength rather than necessity, earmarked for infrastructure and international expansion. Read together, the sequence is hard to miss: partner with an AI lab first, raise money to build out the plumbing second.
Why this matters if you use Cresori
This is a different kind of access than the broker connectors we've covered. Eulerpool's integration gives an AI agent read access to market data, not to anyone's brokerage account or trading authority. There's no draft trade sitting in a queue somewhere, no approval workflow to think about. If you use a data provider that's opening up to AI agents, the practical question is narrower than with a broker: who can see your queries and usage, not who can move your money. Worth knowing, lower stakes than the broker side of this trend.
