MetaTrader 5 adds native AI agents, the platform behind half the second wave

We covered a second wave of CFD brokers shipping MCP connectors in June, several of them running on cTrader, whose maker shipped an official MCP server in May. MetaTrader 5, cTrader's biggest rival platform, just joined the wave on its own terms.
What shipped
MetaQuotes' Build 6030 beta adds native AI agent support and MCP compatibility to MetaTrader 5, letting it connect to Claude Code, Codex and other external agents without locking traders into one AI provider. Identity and broker-facing tools got an overhaul in the same build.
Why it's different from the cTrader wave
The brokers we covered in June inherited MCP connectivity because they run on cTrader, a platform-level decision, not their own engineering. MetaTrader 5 is the other major multi-asset trading platform many of those same kinds of brokers run on instead, so this closes the gap: whichever platform a CFD or forex broker is built on, AI-agent connectivity is now close to a checkbox rather than a project.
Why this matters if you use Cresori
None of MetaTrader 5's broker base is among the seven Cresori connects to directly today, but the pattern keeps repeating: platform-level MCP support turns "does my broker support AI agents" into "which platform is my broker built on," a question worth asking regardless of which specific broker you use.
