TradeStation's gated AI connector isn't Claude-only anymore: ChatGPT joins the walled garden

Back in January, TradeStation's new MCP connector arrived gated behind a $10,000 account minimum and a Claude Pro subscription. Six months later, the gate is still up, but the guest list just got longer: ChatGPT is now allowed in too.
What changed
TradeStation added OAuth-based support for ChatGPT Plus, Pro, Business, Enterprise and Edu accounts on July 16. Once connected, the assistant can see balances and positions and work with orders the same way the Claude integration already did, TradeStation's own review flow still sits between anything the AI proposes and an actual fill.
The gate's still there
The $10,000 account minimum hasn't moved, and there's still no free or open tier. TradeStation is expanding which AI platforms can connect, not who gets to connect one.
Why this matters if you use Cresori
The lesson from January still holds: know exactly what access an AI platform has to an account, and revoke it the moment you stop using it. What's worth adding now is that a gate isn't static. TradeStation didn't reopen access to more accounts, but it did add another company (OpenAI) to the list of platforms technically capable of reading account data through this connector. Every time a broker adds a new AI integration, that's a new party worth knowing about, even if your own account access hasn't changed at all.
